Day four of the battlefield archaeology dig produced the first uniform related finds. Military insignia burnt and twisted by the extreme heat of the fire that turned the shelter to ashes dring the fighting in late September 1941
The excavations of the frontline defences of the Hillock of Death continued and we started preparing the extended excavation area for docmentation.
